Download and Installation

Make sure you are using the latest version. If not - download and install the latest version from our web site:

Download Helicon Filter or Helicon Focus.

Windows: Run installation (.exe file) and follow the wizard.
Mac OS X: Run .dmg file and drag applications to target folder.


Online registration

1. Press 'Help->Online registration...' in the menu of Helicon Filter or Helicon Focus.

2. Enter activation code which we have sent you in the purchase notification and press 'Activate the program' (or 'Register') button.

Online registration with activation code requires internet connection and does not work  for offline computers.

 

 


 

 

Offline registration

If your computer is not online, please use offline registration.

1. Please open offline registration dialog in Helicon Focus or Helicon Filter:

2. Save your Workstation ID to text file on a flash disk or other storage device.

3. Login to our support system from any other computer connected to internet (http://www.heliconsoft.com/support/login.php)

4. Enter activation code which we have sent you in the purchase notification to log in (not Workstation ID !).

If you do not remember your activation code, please use "Forgot activation code?" link
If you do not remember your email, please send message to support@heliconsoft.com
When you entered the system, you can write message to support, generate keys for your computers and change your profile.

5. Open Keys page

6. Select the appropriate license
7. Enter your Workstation ID
8. Generate the key.
9. Save the key to the disk as a text file and transfer to your offline computer. Then paste the key into the Offline registration dialog of the Helicon Filter or Helicon Focus.

Key request via email

If you for some reason cannot activate your program online and you cannot generate the key manually in Helicon Help Desk, please request the key via email support@heliconsoft.com .

 


Troubleshooting / Q&A

Q: What is activation code?

All our customers are registered in the online Helicon Help Desk.  Each customer has unique, random activation code. This code is used to identify the customer. When you enter activation code to the registration dialog of Helicon Filter or Helicon Focus, the program send request to our database and receives the registration key for given computer.

Q: What is Workstation ID and where it can be found?

Helicon products use hardware dependent keys, otherwise the keys are published in the internet. Workstation ID is a unique identifier of the computer hardware. To manually generate the key you need to know your Workstation ID. It can be found in offline registration dialog.

Q: My program becomes unregistered. Why?

Most probably you've made hardware update or changed partitions on your hard drive. Do not worry, use your activation code to register the program again.
