remote for Nikon Df

Post by Cbernhardt »

I just found the App and downloaded from the Apple App Store. It did not require a purchase to,download from the App Store. Before I pull the trigger and purchase from the website, I have a question whether the Df is supported. The Df is listed in the general list of Nikon cameras reportedly sopported by the App, but not included in the list of Nikon cameras that require the external Wifi adapter. As downloaded from the App Store, I was not able to connect to my camera or find the "Add Camera" in any menu. I assume I need to purchase the license first before that is activated. I had tried the advice from this forum and not able to connect the camera to the App. Thanks.

This has nothing to do with the license (or lack thereof).
Df is supported with WU-1a, it does not have built-in wireless capability: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-produc ... atibleWith

Apparently, it's missing from the list, we'll add it where it belongs.
"Add camera" is in the "Select a camera" dialog (but you will probably not need it). For iOS-specific manual, use menu -> Help from the app instead of the online manual from our website.
