Can you create a tutorial for doing retouching using a Mac. I don't understand how to use this tool

Actually, retouching works the same in Win and Mac OS versions of Helicon Focus.

The reason I ask is it does not matter whether I use the right or left mouse button, it is not changing anything on the retouching screen even though I have chosen a source image. What am I missing?
