Re: Canon R7 - Unable to step focus
Try resetting the camera body settings. Most likely there is some kind of intrusive autofocus function enabled (servo / tracking / AI / face detection etc.).

Re: Camera (Z6) not found
No, it's not that. It acts as a camera, not a card reader, and it's not something we can do anything about.

Re: DNG vs. TIFF very slow on Windows Version
Hello Markus, The old versions of the Lightroom plugin did not come with the TIFF/DNG presets, you had to switch the format in the export settings. We added the presets a few years ago. By installing the new Helicon Focus on the new computer, you also got the new version of the plugin. This is not a...

Hello Per,
Please send a bug report (menu - Help - Report a bug) when the camera is connected and you get "No camera found" as shown on the screenshot.

Re: New versions
It has been updated because every new macOS update breaks things, no such problem on Windows. Is there any specific thing you are waiting to be addressed?

Re: Hardware acceleration failing
Thanks Phil, No, this is simply information about your source image files, it doesn't depend on OpenCL or anything else that Helicon Focus does. The files look very typical, nothing special or unusual, so I don't think the problem is related to your specific images. Do you experience any similar cor...

Re: buon giorno, è possibile fare un video dal punto A al punto B invece di scattare fotografie?
Hello,
No, sorry, this is not something that Helicon Remote does. You are able to perform focus steps while recording a video, but that's probably not what you wanted.

Hi Phil,
I meant that you should right-click a source file in Helicon Focus. Sorry about unclear instructions.

Re: Using same alignment for several stacks
Hello Michael, We were considering this feature, but the GIF makes it clear that Helicon Focus can't help with your case. It's designed to align and merge focus stacks - series of photos where ONLY the focus changes. If the point of view changes or the lighting changes, it's a different scenario for...

Re: A7rV Support
No, it doesn't currently support A7 RV. We don't know when it will as it's completely unclear what the problem is, and Sony doesn't release any documentation on their remote control protocol.

Re: DNG out for Panoramas?
We probably overlooked this, there shouldn't be any technical reason for DNG out not being supported for panoramas. We'll look into it for the next major update of Helicon Focus (that we're already working on).

Re: Nikon Z9 - no focus bracketing
Hi, It's likely something in the camera settings because no one else has reported this issue. Z9 is a new camera, but I know we have a few customers who use it. I don't exactly know what the problem is, my guess would be something with the AF settings, but who knows. Can you reset all the camera bod...

Re: Hardware acceleration failing
Hi Phil,
I think you encountered this before, was it on a different Mac or the same one? If I remember correctly, the last you said this only happened on one machine.
Also, please right-click any of your TIFF source files - Image information - post the screenshot of the info dialog.

Re: M2 Ultra Support
Thank you for confirming it works! Just to clarify, do you have OpenCL acceleration enabled (in the Helicon Focus preferences - Performance)? As for the issue you've described, please send an error report (menu - Help - Contact support) after saving the result, just before you quit Helicon Focus. Ar...
