Helicon Photo Safe
Helicon Photo Safe is a fully featured image management program.It also allows you to protect your private images by encrypting them with a password. No one will be able to see your private photos except those who know the password.
You can protect different groups of images with different passwords. You can also hide safes so that nobody even knows that your private photos exist on the computer.
Helicon Photo Safe is designed to:
- browse, move, copy images on the disk
- protect private images with a password
- load images from memory cards
- assign ratings and categories
- create virtual image collections/albums

Helicon Photo Safe allows you to:
- browse RAW, JPEG, TIFF and many other image types
- show all images on your computer in one list
- set ratings
- assign user defined tags/categories
- edit IPTC fields
- view images by date
- search images by name, date or exif information
- move or copy images by drag-and-drop
- encrypt your private images with three levels of security
Only extention is changed so most of the program cannot open such files. One can manually decrypt such files by deleting ".enc" extention from its name.
Pros: very high speed, decryption can be made manually
Cons: some program may display the renamed images based on its contents
Level two: protection agains advanced users
Content of the image is encrypted based on the user password. Special knowledge and software is needed to break encryption and open the image without password.
Pros: high speed, high level of security
Cons: potentially can be cracked by security experts
Level three: protection agains security experts
Bank-level encryption is applied so it is impossible to open the image without knowing the password.
Pros: very high level of security
Cons: slower than other methods, impossible to decrypt image if password lost and password recovery feature not used.
Password recovery: if you like the program can store your password and your e-mail inside of the encrypted file. No one can read this password, even you. Only our supporters in our office with our private key can read this information from your image and send the password to your e-mail. This procedure ensures that only you get your lost password.

Helicon Image Importer loads images from external storage devices like digital camera, memory card, flash disk, etc.
