Unable to register using purchased key code

I purchased HeliconFocus Pro for the Mac today, received an email
confirmation and activation code. When I copy and paste this code
into the registration dialog I receive an error message saying "Key
generation failed. Date is wrong". If i try to generate a code using
my workstation ID I get the same error.

This also happens if I enter the activation code manually, that is,
not using copy and paste.

What's going on?
