MLU off - Nikon D810

Post by Hervey »

Hello..

I see in Helicon remote that the MLU says OFF in the Remote app lower bar. Live view is on though... am I good to go like that..?

Thank you

btw, in Live view, nothing changes when changing aperture or time etc.. is it normal.. my old CanonD5 worked..

one note... to move the focus point goes so fast now.. it was so slow on the canon D5.. :D

1. Yes, MLU is not supported with Nikon cameras and the indicator will never be on.
2. Turn live view exposure simulation on (in the camera body settings, or from HR: Tools -> Live view).
3. Stepping speed can be adjusted with Canon cameras by reducing pause for focusing step (HR preferences -> Canon). 80 ms should be safe for USM lenses.
