First try

Post by OzanK »

Hi to all ... I'm struggling for focus stacking for three hours, but unfortunately I can not get successful results. One of the examples of my work is the following. This image is the result of 16 frames. What do you think? Where do I make wrong? Thanks a lot.

Please upload your stack to our server (as described at http://www.heliconsoft.com/ftp-server/) and we will see what is happening.

Hi Stas ... I've just recognized that when I open my .CR2 files from Lightroom (by Plug-in Extras > Export to Helicon Focus) I'm getting bad results. But, if I open my files directly in Helicon focus, the result is good ... at least acceptable for a newbie.

So, the problem is appearing when I start Helicon Focus in Lightroom ... what can I do for correcting it?

Additionally, is Helicon focus available as Photoshop filter plug-in?

Try to set Lightroom to export files in DNG format, here is printscreen:

You also need to install Adobe DNG Converter: http://www.heliconsoft.com/adobedng/
and setup the path to DNG Converter in Helicon Focus menu "Preferences / Integration".

Helicon Focus does not available as Photoshop filter plug-in.
