I'm new to helicon focus (Mac OS X).
Excellent results sometimes, and problems in other occasions that I'm trying to solve by myself (the documentatioin is unforunately minimal).
Annexed is one of my good attempts.

Good shot. How many images in the stack?
I would try with the textured dark background. I think it will add 3d effect
