Scientific American wants a honeybee shot

Unread postby sperelli » 29.01.2009 00:46

Hello,

I am an editor at Scientific American, and I am looking for a truly stunning image of a honeybee (Apis mellifera) for an article. Depending on how visually compelling it is, it could even be selected for the magazine's cover.

Ideally, I would like this to be a close-up frontal view of a honeybee's head. We would also like images of bumblebees, especially of the Western bumblebee.

Please contact me if you have images you think we might like: castelvecchi@gmail.com

Thank you,

Davide
