Thanks for the comment. I used a Nikon D-50 @ f 5.6 with a 105 mm/2.8 macro lens. I used fluorescent studio lights. I don't remember the actual number of images I took, but I'm sure there were well more than 30. I used the camera focus instead of moving the camera to get the different images. I have several other Helicon-generated images on my web site: fisherwr2.smugmug.com These other images were taken with the Nikon or with a Leica S8 AP0 microscope / Lumenera Infinity x-32 camera.
