Stacked images that are slightly shifted

Unread postby thescy » 30.09.2015 18:12

I am trying to combine some images taken through the camera on my microscope. The issue I am having is that when I adjust the focus on my microscope, the image shifts slightly. As a result the object I am photographing moves very slightly from image to image. When I try to put them all together in Helicon Focus so that I can get a good image with everything in focus, that shift is messing up the program and I am getting a smeared looking image. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Is there some setting I need to adjust?

Helicon Focus automatically aligns images but in predefined limits. I would suggest to increase limits for horizontal alignment in the Preferences.
