This is my first serious stacked image. I find that the program is excellent for flower studies. This is formed from 28 stacked images.

Very nice! I like the colors and lighting. Did you use flash? What is your setup?

Thank you. No flash, just natural (shade) light and 2 white card reflectors, one to the left and one below. I have a Panasonic GH2 and the lens I used was a Asahi Pentax 100mm Macro. The camera was on a tripod with a Velbon Super Mag Slider.

Obviously you need to have a VERY calm day to take outdoors shots. Yes??

I just purchased the Helicon Remote for use with my D7000 and Galaxy SIII so I'm anxious to try it out. I will be using the Zerene stacker program initially if it gives me what I want.

Would you happen to know what advantages the Helicon Focus program has over the Zerene that should entice me to reconsider the Helicon program?

I would recommend to try it out, trial version is fully functional. Current version opens RAW files directly and the next one will have more control over RAW development.
