text editing

Unread postby mireille » 02.11.2007 05:29

Hello Dany,

Is it possible to allow text to be mooved upside down
(where frame is decentered up, the tex falls to far on the bottom!)

Thank you!

Ap.s. Did I misunderstood or the next version oh HF will have layers features???

Sorry, I can't understand you you mean : ) Try to express it in French, I hope I will understand you better then : )

Next version: we do not not overload Helicon Filter with layers, we plan to make a separate application to work with layers. Otherwise we will end up with Photoshop-like monster :)

I also don't understand the first question. And what would be so bad about an all-in-one program made with the Helicon style of easy-of-use?

Hi Ariel,

I am guessing we will be able to run Helicon Filter as a SUPER-PlugIn inside the future layered editor. I would not expect HF to be lost .
Obviously I am just speculating.

Sorry guys for my bad english

As I make the text to fit wthin the frame..it is possible to align the text right-center-left..but let say that we make the frame uneven..with lager border in the bottom, the tex fall completely at the bottom..and we cannot moove it upside ...to be center within the bottom! We can moove the tex on horizontal axis but not vertical!

French: En ajoutant le texte au bas d'un cadre décentré il se positionne tout au bas..et je ne peux pas le déplacer vers le haut..mais seulement de droite à gauche! Est-il possible de prévoir la possibilité de le positionner verticalement

Sorry for the misunderstood of the layer editer!

Strange, I cannot reproduce it. I can move text all over the image no matter what the frame is. Can you post a sample?

Sorry I could not reproduce it either as it works fine now with the cursor!
(was probably jammed because of a lack of memory with big file)

Thank you Dany!
