Suggestions for Helicon NoiseFilter

Unread postby klumy » 04.04.2004 17:29

Hello,

- will Helicon Noisefilter support batch processing of files?
so it can process multiple files in sequence?

- NF should'nt ask if you want to exit (it always shows this Yes-No) dialogbox on exit. maybe an option to turn it off would be nice

- NF always open the Demo Image on startup. There should be an option to disable this

- option to implement NF to the Windows Explorer contextmenu

here are some more suggestions:

- please rename the menu "?" to "help" like in other programs ;)

- better mouse wheel support
CTRL + mousewheel will zoom the picture like in many other imageprograms

- option to set a new default filename for saving.

currently it's always
output date time.extension

it would be great if the user could define it's own filename.

- add an entry "Homepage" and "Forum" to the "help" menu
so the user can easier access to your homepage and forum for support ;)

- You can compress the EXE's and Dll's of your program with the free Open Source Program ,,UPX". Many programs uses these compression techniques, to keep their distribution small (e.g. Sisoft Sandra, VirtualDub, IrfanView, UltraEdit, HomeSite...).
It protects the user from a overblown program like Windows.
It's free, even for commercial programs !!
Audiograbber uses UPX
You can get UPX here.
http://upx.sourceforge.net/

On this site you will find a graphical frontend for UPX

here is one important suggestion:

- please please do NOT let exif data lost when processing picture.

Its very time consuming put it back and I like it there because of it is part of my category system and therefore I need it.

How about pro version plug-in? Exif lost with it? :?:

By the way, you have made very good program. Thanks a lot. :D
