Bug report 5.0.14

Unread postby DrTeeth » 31.12.2010 21:53

Hi,

The attached error box (sshot-7.png) keeps appearing.

Regards

Guy

PS I am also investigating a crash that I seem to be able to reproduce by using the clone brush on a fully zoomed in image, working on the individual little squares one sees.
Edit:- Bug confirmed on another PC, Win 7 32 bit. Not related to a particular graphic.
Steps:-
1) Installed to custom folder \program files\helicon filter.
2) Load JPG
3) Zoom in maximally
4) Select clone brush
5) Set size to smallest
6) Deselect 'move source area'.
7) Click on image - had some crashes from this point. By 'crash', windows produces a dialogue box saying that HF 5 has stopped working.
8) Carry on cloning process pixel by pixel...I have not made it into double figures.

I will keep my eye out for the fix. As you know I really want to buy this program, but I found this bug in 2 mins as it is the most common thing I would do. Hopefully, it will not take too long to fix. Any news on the DRM question?

Yes, new version is not bound to hardware anymore.
