Hello to all

I am free for the time being.

Great to have Helicon Filter and its linear processing.

Two minor comments:

We should have a "close" option for the photo on screen, instead of having to load a new photo on top or exit.

D300 is apparently not supported yet; I get an image the size of a thumbnail.

Kindest regards

Raul

Getting to know you :)

:)

I've had all the imaginable freezes and since I am feeling generous I am enjoying.

I cannot reproduce the D300 loading of a thumbnail (yet).

Question:Setting HF to DCRAW: Up to what stage is the processing linear?
WB?
I like to use uniWB in my cameras (D2hs, D300, D2x and D3) and sometimes the image on screen does not show proper linear WB.

Kindest regards

Raul

Raul,

We plan to release newer version of Helicon Filter today or tomorrow with updated raw libraries.

I have little infromation about internal RAW processing as they are done in Nikon SDK or DCRAW.

Hello Dan

You sold me Helicon :D

Your program looks very nice. Dcraw is far superior to the Nikon stuff (funny, they make great cameras but don't supply all the elements for good decoding of their nefs, or worst: they don´t know how jijijiji).

With very kind regards

The new version - 4.83 - was released on 2/6/08 and can be downloaded. I use an Alpha 700 and the new raw processing made a huge difference.
