Hi there,

I installed helicon remote on an old netbook (acer aspire one with intel atom processor N450).
When trying to run the software I get the error message that a video is missing.
Is it just impossible to run this software on such a hardware or is there a workaround.
OS is W7

The new versions of Helicon Remote cannot run on this significantly outdated hardware, but you can try an older version of the program: http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconRemote3.7.3.exe

Do you plan to provide a version for linux also?

Technically speaking, we can provide a Linux version, there just doesn't seem to be much interest in it to justify the cost of supporting it. Would you be interested in trying the Linux version, keeping in mind that it may not work perfectly at first?
Also, the same graphics hardware limitations apply to Linux as well.

thx for your reply - if it makes no difference regarding graphics hardware limitation I propably will not go this way.
