No shutter cable is required if

Post by theet55 »

Hi, I am interested in starting to do stacking photograph and looking at buying the StackShot Macro Rail Package. My query is they claim 'No shutter cable is required if used with Helicon Remote'. If I purchase only the Rail and not their controller, how do I connect my PC (Windows 10 Home Ver) to the rail and my camera (Nikon D750)? What connections and type of connector are needed between PC and Rack and also the camera. Appreciate any help and links to help with my query. Thanks

"Shutter cable" means just that: shutter release cable is not required. You do need the control box. The box is connected to a computer with a USB lead, and the rail is connected to the box.
