Hello,

my community and me are using Helicon Focus for micro mineral photography. Our stacks are often more than 100 images. I will use helicon remote together with an arduino board to control my z stage. Is there a way to bring helicon remote together with an arduino board which also can be controled by serial commands.

The goal should be to set a start point, an andpoint and the numer of steps and the rest should do helicon remote. Make a picture drive some steps, wait a few seconds ... and the same again.

I already saw you did the same with trinamic stepper motors. This motors are very expensiv and difficult to get. For my arduino board, stepper motor and drive all to gether i spend less then 10€.

Kind regards Stefan

You could download the serial protocol documentation for Trinamic and implement it in your Arduino board.

Stefan, did you come to success in mating Helicon Remote and Arduino? If yes, could you post solution?

Stefan,
Have you had any success with this implementation?
