Taking multiple pictures based on GPS distance

Unread postby philgib » 28.05.2017 20:29

Hello,

More and more drone and plane pilots need to trigger pictures based on GPS distance, for something call Photogrammetry, whihc allows to render in 3D any place flown over.

Could it be possible to program such thing on Helicon Remote ?

Many thanks

It might be possible to implement for mobile devices that have built-in GPS (especially Android devices because we already support GPS on Android for geotagging purposes). But the scope of the question is unclear. Are you going to mount a DSLR and a phone on a drone?
Either way, a specialized device - a GPS receiver that plugs into the remote trigger port of the camera - seems better suited for this task.
