Histogram no longer available after update to 3.7.3

Has anyone else had this issue?
I'm use a Nikon D5300. I updated my android Helicon Remote app to 3.7.3 on both my Nexus 7 (2013) and my Droid Maxx...now neither will display the Histogram overlay.
When I check the Histogram overlay box, the live view gets a little laggy (just like the older version), but the Histogram overlay doesn't display.
Since it's on both devices, it makes me think it's a bug in 3.7.3.
I've even tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling.... didn't help.

Any advice would be appreciated.
