Remote not opening focus

Hi,

I have focus pro and remote.

On my PC, after running remote, clicking on 'open focus' opens a new window in focus (as expected)

On my Mac (macbook pro 17" running El Capitan) the FIRST time I open focus from remote it works. Every subsequent time I try, focus NEVER opens and I have to manually open it and select the files I want to process.

Any ideas?
