I thought I'd pass along a tip I just discovered. I am using Helicon Remote on a Galaxy Tab 4 7".
My camera is using the Nikon WU-1b wi-fi adapter.
I discovered that just having the Nikon WMU software installed causes a conflict, even though you don't consciously start it.
Apparently, WMU either starts all the time or when you connect to the WU-1b adapter.
I was having a heck of a time connecting Helicon and would have to try to connect many times before it would complete.
After uninstalling Nikon WMU from the tablet, I had no more issues.

That's a useful piece of info. Thanks for sharing.

25Feb2016 - Follow-up. You actually don't need to uninstall WMU. Go to the Settings, and turn off "App auto launch"

Thanks, Tom! I just purchased the HR and the wu-1b, but I will not be installing the Nikon app.
