I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Helicon Remote and a Canon 70D camera. I am interested in doing focus stacking.
I don't understand why I would need to store the photos on my phone, as my camera has more storage. If I tell Remote to leave the files on the camera, will the camera's memory card have the structure setup in Remote?
If so, I have not been able to setup the file naming to include time. I can't find any templates and I cannot type it in as the square brackets are not offered in the virtual keyboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am just learning this!

Re: Don't understand where files are stored.
The naming settings only apply to storing the images that are being downloaded to the computer or tablet.
There are brackets on the keyboard, however. And there are time templates: [hour], [minute], [second].
