Near and far point - shifting!

Post by Specialspoon » 14.06.2015 08:51

Hi Stas,

Using Nikon D810 and Tamron 90mm 2.8. And generally having great results with your software. Thank you!

However one recurring problem is after setting near and far point correctly, the camera doesn't actually shoot to the end point, leaving the furthest part of the subject blurred.

When I go back to check the A and B point after shooting the sequence, the B point has shifted forwards!

Please help!

That's most likely a problem with the lens itself, meaning we can't do anything about it. Some lens hace slack, so that the more steps (increments) you make, no matter how big, the more it drifts. Some Nikon lenses have specific position(s) they struggle going through in a single step correctly.
