Has anyone else experienced issues shooting with the d810?
Shooting in M mode, I set the exposure, but the live view comes up way too bright, yet the actual shots come out way too dark. Very strange behavior. I also have a d800 which works perfectly.
Any suggestions to get Remote to play nice with the 810?

Re: D810 Exposure Issues
It's not strange. Quite on contrary, it's the usual Nikon behavior. Fortunately, starting with D800, Nikon has implemented live view exposure simulation, which is what you're looking for. Enable it in the menu -> Tools -> Live view (or Live view tab on Android).
Re: D810 Exposure Issues
Hey Stas,
I updated my Helicon Remote software and I am having this issue again, with both the 800 and the 810. When I try to enable the exposure simulation the option is grayed out.
Any suggestions? I really appreciate your help.
Thanks

Re: D810 Exposure Issues
That's something with the camera body settings. Start by checking that the camera isn't in video mode. If that's not it, try clearing the body settings.
