I tried now x times to connect a Canon 6D with my iMac. It always brok at the same stage. I'am not able to connect the device under "select camera". There is the Canon EOS 6D visible and if I click on the button to connect it comes up with a report that the camera rejected the connection.
I deleted complete settings on the camera several times and restarted application and camera x times...

And make sure no other camera control software is running (EOS Utility, WFT Pairing etc.)
