TP-Link TL-MR3040 router

Post by aaronpriest »

I have a TP-Link TL-MR3040 battery powered wifi router that I use with DslrDashboard with my Nikon D700 (similar hardware to the CamRanger but $35). I'd love to see Helicon Remote support this. It would really help with iOS devices if you eventually release an app for that, but even with a laptop across the room it would be useful.

So far we have no plans for supporting this configuration.

Bummer, $1,000 Nikon wireless or a cable. Ridiculous Nikon!

I think the TP-Link MR3040 Ver 1 would work with Helicon remote if you use the right software like : dslrdashboard.info/tp-link-mr3040-openwrt-flash...

Just thinking out loud.

Thanks.

That's exactly the setup I have and couldn't get to work.

In my case I have a D5100 it should work with Helicon remote. Its suppose to work with the Nikon WU-1a on other Nikons that are compatible. Any ways if I come up with something I will post it.
