Hi,
Will Helicon Remote current versions support the new Nikon D810 over windows or android?
Thanks!

Re: Nikon D810 support over windows or android
We've just added preliminary support for D810.
Windows installer: http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/He ... te_340.exe
Android APK file (uninstall HR before installing the APK if you had it): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_uKrE ... sp=sharing
Note this is a very experimental version of the program, both because D810 hasn't been tried yet and because there are lots of internal changes to Remote, not all of which has been well tested yet. Please report any issues.

I will be getting the camera later today and will try it over the weekend and let you know if I have any issues. Thanks for jumping right on it with a beta!
Re: Nikon D810 support over windows or android
So far in Android, remote is bringing up the D810 live view. I can take some photos, and adjust focus with the arrows, but to lock the focus points, it gives me a communication with the camera error. My adapter is a Samsung USB 3.0 adapter to an S5 device. Some sites label my adapter as OTG, some don't. On AliExpress it is called, 2013 Galaxy Tab USB Connection Kit Micro Usb EPL-AU10WEGXAR OTG. So I don't know for sure if my adapter is correct.
For anyone curious the new live view implementation in the D810 over the D800/E is far superior and will make jobs like focus stack shooting a lot easier imo.

I have a D810 and can help troubleshoot. However, I'm running a mac. Is there a beta mac version available?

There used to be, but it's clear now that D810 is significantly different from D800 in some regards firmware-wise, things that worked since D5000 don't work on D810 anymore. We must wait for Nikon to release documentation on D810 to support it.
