Helicon Remote seems to be over-riding the self timer on my Nikon D300. Is there any way around this please?
Regards,
Jacquie.

Yes, Remote always sets shooting mode to single shot. There's no way around at the moment, and I'm not sure if we can make it work with timer at all.

That's a shame, as it would make it ideal for self portraits.

You could set up time lapse, though (1 shot with the appropriate first shot delay).

Thank you, that does appear to work. It's a pity the view is obscured by the countdown timer window though. Couldn't that have been put somewhere around the perimeter of the viewing window?

I agree, time lapse tool is a poor replacement for self-timer. We'll try adding proper self-timer support to Remote (but have to see if it will work in this mode first).

Thank you, that would be great.
