Focus problem
Focus problem
I have used the registered Helicon remote many time with my Canon 650D & 70D and took exceptional macro shots with ease. However, I have recently upgraded to the latest version and now I am having all sort of trouble. As usual, I set the near and far ends but when starting to shoot the camera goes out of focus on every attempt. I hope there is a solution for my problem.
Re: Focus problem
After several attempts and trials, I have managed to solve the problem by modifying some parameters in the preferences menu for Canon cameras.
Thanks

Re: Focus problem
Can you please describe what you have modified so that we can make sure it wasn't a software bug, or fix it if it was one?
Re: Focus problem
I just increased the "focus time" from 1 second to 2 and made "size of focusing steps" big instead of small and voila everything works perfectly now.
Apparently the focus problem happens only when using Tamron macro lens and the above tweak corrected it.
Cameras in use: Canon T4i and 70D
Lens in use: Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP
