My plan is to use HR in the process of polar aligning the camera for astrophotography.
I want to zoom in the HR live view screen as much as possible and keep track of a specific star. The HR feature "show 10x10 grid" would be perfect for this, but the grid disappears from the live view screen the moment I start zooming. Would it be possible to continue the grid overlay during zooming ? It would be a great improvement.

Do you want the grid to simply remain on the screen regradless of the zoom level, or do you expect it to zoom and pan when live view zooms in?

I think the best option would be to let the grid remain untouched (not zoomed).
That would allow for a detailed visible grid even in max zoom level.

That's not hard to do, but we don't want to make this change, we think the grid should be consistent with the image. What we can do is make this adjustment for you personally. What operating system are you using Remote on?

I understand that my suggestion may conflict with other needs for the grid behavior.

Maybe this could be a flexible solution :
- If "show grid" is NOT set to "No", then an extra grid option would appear in the menu : "Grid follow zoom" (yes/no).

But if you think it would mess up the menu too much, I would be grateful for a personal fix. My current Android version is 4.2.1.
