Remote crashes

Hi!
Just downloaded the remote and unfortuantely it won't work. As soon as I connect the camera via usb a messagebox shows up asking if the camera should be connected with the software. Then it crashes. Are there any logfiles available?

Hardware:
Canon 5d mk II
Acer A501 with Rooted Android 3.2 (Taboonay Derivative)
