Nikon D7000 & Asus Transformer Prime

Post by knowlesy »

I've installed the Helicon remote software on my Asus Transformer Prime Android 4.0.3 appears to work fine opens etc ... however when #Ive connected my Nikon D7000 and tried to enter "live view" it wont enable so to speak with the micro usb in, is their a way of getting the D7000 to enable live view ? as the last report on market.android.com has an acer (forgot the model iirc android 3.01 it should be) and a D7000 claims to it working...but for some reason I havent been able to figure out how ? could some one point me in the right direction :)

Cheers

Bracketed shots working?
I'm using a D7000 and an Acer Iconia A500. I was THRILLED to find that I could use the HDR function and shoot as many as 15 exposures. What a break through! Awesome, awesome, awesome. There only appears to be one big problem: I can't find the actual pictures! Not on the SD card for the camera, and not on the tablet itself. Any ideas?

Does Android itself see the camera? Is there a pop-up window when you connect it? Can you browse camera's storage from Gallery application?

I just bought cables to try this one out (using the the usbcable that you get with the TFP then a USB female-female connector followed by a cable that converts 'normal' usb to the miniusb). But nothing happends. The OS doesnt see it and the helicon doesnt either. Anyone who got this working?

Best regards

I'm not sure what exactly is wrong, but must be a problem with cables/adapters, since Android itself can't see it. To check if it is a problem with camera or physical connection, you can try connecting USB mouse .
