Remote 2012w with D700

Hi,

Has anyone managed to get Remote working with a Nikon D700. I have tried mine with both the Mac beta on an iMac, and on a PC with Remote 2012w.

The software controls the lens on both platforms, takes pictures on the PC (crashes on the Mac) but does not show liveview on either.

I just wondered if I had done something stupid, or has missed a step.

Dying to get this to work, and will buy the full version if I can.

I should mention that I am currently using the download demo versions of the software.

Stas - I have already submitted the error log to you from the Mac.

Having the same problem here. I was having 2011 working beautifully with my D700 when the software told me that there was an update. I went ahead and did it and everything went wrong since then. Helicon remote could not now connect with my D700 no matter what I did. I don't think it's the matter of try out version vs full blown one because I purchased the Helicon Focus Pro X64 (premium version)

Thanks for your reply - interesting that it is not just me.

Just FYI, I have been trying it on the iMac under Snow Leopard (with latest updates) and on Win XP with all updates.

As soon as it will work with either OS, I will buy it. It looks like a fantastic tool.

I think we spotted the bug with D700 and we are preparing new version now. We plan to publish it within few days.
