Why is the slowest shutter speed limited to 1/30 sec? I shoot in the studio with continuous lighting and could use some slower speeds like 1/2 or 1/8 sec.

Good point, we will check why the list is limited to 1/30. We tested Canon 5D Mk II, Nikon D90 and Canon 450D with Helicon Remote 2.0.11 and these cameras allow time up to 30 sec. Please give us more details: camera, program version, OS.

I downloaded the newer version of HR (2.0.11) and shutter speed options are now up to 30 sec.
