Quick View - Exif information

Unread postby dogcatcher » 28.04.2013 08:08

Would it be possible to see a little more Exif information in the top ribbon in Quick View. I would find it especially helpful if I could see the date of the picture. I need this when I have moved a bunch of images incorrectly from their dated files.

.... and in Helicon Filter!

In fact: to make everyone happy... it'd be great to have it user definable what is displayed :)

We are trying to minimize number of options, otherwise the program becomes too difficult to learn.

Good point, but you can also achieve that by providing appropriate defaults with Advance options to do the "hidden stuff", which should keep everyone happy... but those are design decisions, i.e. your job, I'm just putting in my 2 cents worth for what I'd like (otherwise you'd never know, eh? )

We really appreciate your suggestions. We usually add them into wish list and then discuss internally with the team, how difficult it is to implement and if this fits into the concept, etc.

I'd just like to bring this to the top and hope that, soon, we will be able to see the date of a picture without leaving the program and visiting the file's folder.

Is this planned for the next release?

Best regards - Roger

Yes, we already implemented it and preparing new release. I think we will need one or two more weeks to complete testing.

Hi - I wonder how close are we to seeing the implementation of the date field that is mentioned above? Hope all is going well.
