Yes, it will work in the next update. Or you can download the latest ffmpeg utility yourself and put it into the Helicon Focus folder, that will enable Focus to import the video.

I cannot answer that without knowing what it is that you're doing manually.
I assume the problem was that the videos could not be opened by Helicon Focus, it should no longer be a problem with the new Focus 6.8.0 which you can download from our website: http://www.heliconsoft.com/software-downloads/
