Lightroom Exports Tiffs into Helicon Focus

Hey there, I am new to the software. I have installed the DNG converter so that I can export DNG files from Helicon Focus, but the problem is happening in the export stage from Lightroom (bringing files into Helicon Focus). The files are raw files, but they always import as tiff files in Helicon Focus. I want to export the raw files from Lightroom, render my stack and then export the files from Helicon Focus as DNG... but I cannot do this since the files will only import into Helicon Focus as tiff files. Please help.

Thanks

You should set Lightroom to export files in DNG format, here is screenshot:

Is there a way that we can set the Lightroom Export to default the as DNG? I have the converter installed and it works when I go in and change the "Rename To" checkbox and "Image Format" drop down every time, but it would be nice if we could either set the default or have a separate "Helicon Focus DNG" setting in the export menu.
Yes, I can make my own and add it to User Presets, but it would be more intuitive to have it supplied by the Helicon plugin.

This is Lightroom logic, I don't believe the plugin can control it. Maybe Lightroom support staff will know how to change the defaults permanently.
