Lightroom Plug-In Problem

Mac with latest operating system, Lightroom with latest updates.

When attempting to use Helicon Focus as a Lightroom plug-in:
Library>File>Export with preset
Message is Unable to export, could not find path to Helicon Focus application

Helicon Focus works fine as a stand-alone program. What have I done wrong?

Also, does not seem to want to update to latest version. Seems to download fine, but then sticks on Update in progress.
