Cloning - F9 key not working

I'm working on a Mac. OS X 10.10.5
I want to use the F9 key to automatically select the best source image, but when I press it nothing happens.

When I go into OS X preferences and look at the keyboard setting I don't see it being assigned to any functions shown there.

I'm almost certain that the problem is in your system and not the software. F9 works fine on our Macs, I just checked.
