Hello
when I stack with HF 6.2.2 DNG files to tif files, the output files have only 1024x683pixel instead of 5600x4xxx
DNG Converter is: FastPictureViewer Codec Pack ($14.95), the original Adobe converter is in the Helicon folder but does not show up in the selection menu.
Resolution is set to 100%
See screenshots 253 and 254

What is wrong?
Same size issue in HF 5.3
Good DNG stacking would help me a lot...
Thanks

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
I would recommend to select WIC codecs in RAW Development settings. You will be able to select FastPicturViewer and you can also install latest DNG WIC codec.
They should be able to open files in full resolution.
They should be able to open files in full resolution.

Thanks Stas
I Installed the The Adobe DNG Codec Ves. 2 and the Adobe DNG Decoder(Fast Pictures Codec Pack) .
With the Adobe DNG Codec full resolution stacking is possible. The Fast Picture Codec Pack only a resolution of 1024x683 is shown.

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
Summary stacking DNG to TIFF
In HF 6.22 the newest DNG Codec 2.0 from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ ... ftpID=5495) and Microsoft Codec Pack are recognized and output comes out in full resolution. Codec Fast Viewer DNG does not work for high resolution output.
In HF 53 the new Codecs from Adobe and Microsoft are not shown in the converter selection menu. (Preferences)
And the the ouput is still not high-resolution.
Does it has to do with the version of DNG files. Because when you transform CR2 files to DNG in Lightroom you can choose to which version the DNG file has to be compatible. I choosed version 7.1.

Is there a way to install the newest Adobe Codec that HF 5.3 will recognise it?
Because of the black bars on the side when you want retouch in HF 6.2.2 I have to stick with 5.3 and have to solve the promblem with the RAW conversions... sorry.

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
We will hopefully fix the black margin problem very soon. You can install newer Adobe DNG Converter to HF 5.3, see details here:

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
Stas
I did the whole porcess as described in
http://www.heliconsoft.com/adobedng/
the newest Adobe-Converter 8.6 you find at this Link:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ ... ileID=5838
deleted the old Adobe DNG converter and copied Vers. 8.6 to the HF 5.3 folder.
Restarted computer.
Then I went trough all four preferencesetting for DNG convertingn with the same ouputsesult of 1024x683 Pixel.
I am frustrated. Does I make something wrong?
I uploaded the testfiles to the FTP folder
/danibo/TEST_DNG_Files_Z100_B100
Thanks

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
Hallo
tried it with DNG Ver. 2.4 files.
Same result as above.
Dummy question: Why do I use Adobe DNG converter? The files are already in the DNG Format.
Is possible to tell HF 5.3 to use the newest Adobe DNG codec reader? I installed the newest and with HF 62.2 I can use it and works fine as described above.
Thanks
Daniel

Re: DNG stacking to TIFF small output files
Yes, you are right, Adobe DNG Converter is used to convert RAW to DNG, then it is open by internal raw engine. I am afraid you will not be able to make it work with 5.3 version. We do not support it anymore so the only solution is to wait for newer 6.x version.
