DNG stacking changes exposure

Post by danibo »

Hallo

When I stack directly from DNG files Helicon Focus produces pictures with different brightness values. When I feed HF with the same files in the Tif format it performce more consistent. All pictures are exposed the same way.

Examples you see here:

What is the best format to feed HF?

Thanks

I think the reason is that DNG files are developed a bit differently. Hightlights are cropped by default, I would recommend to use Unclip option in the DCRAW options in RAW development settings. You are also welcome to upload DNG files to our server for tests (as described at http://www.heliconsoft.com/ftp-server/).

ok
I uploaded the DNG files from the screenshot to
/danibo/DNG_Processing on the server

But how can I put the RAW dev. setting when I enqueue the DNG files. By going this way I could not find the Raw development settings as described in the help file.

Or did I miss it.
Can you make some default RAW settings? I did not find it in the menue

Thanks

The program will use the last used RAW settings while working in batch mode. So RAW settings are recorded as default for this file type after the RAW dialog is closed.

Thanks for the informations.
I tried the RAW converter from Adobe together with HF 6.2.2.
Works good.
