Upgrade and License question

I purchased a Helicon Focus Pro-1 year license 7 months ago and am currently using HF v5.3. Now I see there is a v6x available but my HF v5.3 says that no updates are available. Need I purchase another license to download and use v6.x?

Please download and install the latest release of Helicon Focus:
http://www.heliconsoft.com/software-downloads/

Then please open Helicon Focus menu->Help->Online registration..., and enter your activation code. The code is case sensitive.
