Focus and Vista

I installed Vista the other day and just tried Helicon Focus for the firrst time under Vista. The first pass with 25 images produced a final image that was vwey ragged around the edges. This is the first time I had noticed this. I tried twice to redo the image. On both attempts Helicon
Focus hung and I had to go to the task manager to end the program. The about button under help indicates that I am running version 4.0.7 release 2. Is there a problem running under Vista or is this unique to my setup. I am running a P4 at 2.8 GH with 1 GB RAM, 65 GB free space on the primary drive with secondary drive having 95 GB free and 455 GB free.
