Dear All,
I experience difficulties with panorama stitching of microscopic images. I have made sure that I have enough overlap in the individual images, but still there are errors in stiching. What more parameters than overlap I have the possibility to optimize with helicon?
Thank you very much!
Ute

Re: panorama stitching
I would increase Preferences/Autoadjustment/Panorama values in case you are not using motorized microscope.
And you can drag images before stitching to manually align them.
You are also welcome to upload your stack to our ftp server for tests as described at http://www.heliconsoft.com/ftp-server/

Re: panorama stitching
Dear Stas,
thank you very much for your kind answer!
I have just upload the images into a folder named "microscopist - panorama.tif_files". These images are take with the ZEN software from Zeiss controlling a motorized microscope. Do you need more details from me? In any case I am curious to see what you make out of it.
many greetings
Ute

Re: panorama stitching
Thanks for the stack. I can see two problems here:
1. The camera is slightly rotated so one cannot align images by just changing overlapping values. One have to move the tiles manually. To my suggestion is to align camera "horizon" with the X-axis of the motorized table.
2. The program is not able to align images even if they are positioned manually:

We will check this problem and try to fix in the coming release.
