is there a way to save specific depth maps rendered?

Post by Sterling »

I am fascinated by certain depth maps (grey scale images) that appear in the right window as HF is rendering in Method B.

Is there map to capture specfic depth maps that occur during the processing instead of saving the "final" depth map?

The final depth map is the map you see during processing plus som postprocessing. To minimize this postprocessing set Smoothing to minimum and Preferences\Depth map feathering to 0.

That is not exactly what I meant. During the processing, the greyscale image in the right window changes as each image is processed. Is there a way to "capture" one of these images during the processing?

Is there a way to freeze the processing so the specific printscreen can be captured?

You can freeze it by clicking again on the button "rendering", then proceeding with your software for screen capture; try to use a short cut to open it, otherwise you'll miss the small window with the grey scale.
You can than save your screen capture as a jpeg file, but the resolution will not be that big, around 700x600px...
