Unable to save and view 3d animation on Macbook Pro

Post by AlphaZeroOne » 08.02.2014 13:02

Hi there. I have been using HF for some time now on my PC. Wanting more portability I have recently installed the latest version on my Macbook Pro (running Maverick). All seems to be working as expected until I attempt to save the 3d animation as a video on my machine. It would appear that the video rendering process takes place (much faster than I would expect) but at end of it I am presented with a dialogue box which I thought was empty other than a large question mark and a 'yes' or 'no' response. However I can just about make out white text against the white background which asks whether I want to watch the video animation. On responding with 'yes' nothing happens and the program will then appear to hang with a cycle of 'save' prompts. On exiting and attempting to find the saved video in the folder, no file of any sort is visible. Is this a known bug or am I missing something obvious. Many thanks.
