Invalid Image Format

I've just started using Helicon Remote with my D800e, shooting NEF, under Mavericks (MacOS 10.9) running Helicon Focus beta and it works very well.

However, I also need to use it under MacOS 10.6.8 and here I have problems. Helicon Remote works fine, but when I want to open the images in Helicon Focus I get this message :

Invalid Image Format. All images in the stack should have same size, type, depth and color model. (Screen grab in the attachment)

I'm running the version that runs on MacOS 10.6x (not the cool beta version).

Any ideas what I should change to make this work ?

Please use Helicon Focus 6.
